I really think this is a step in the right direction. When Wikileaks started I thought; "Yes, this is the news I really want to read about. This is real, raw, unpolished." ReplyDeleteCensorship is always an issue I have mixed feelings on. Some things aren't okay for some people, but I don't want to be censored. If it's okay to censor one thing, what's stopping censorship of anything else?
ReplyDeleteMy home country, Canada, used to be less censor heavy and more liberal when it comes to the internet, but the current government is getting more and more on board with U.S. censorship policy.
